GETTYSBURG – Busy students planning to enroll for spring classes at HACC can get it all done in one convenient visit. A One-Stop Registration event is scheduled from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, on the Gettysburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, 731 Old Harrisburg Road.
During this special stop-in event, students can apply, talk to an academic adviser, register for classes, find out about financial aid and payment options and complete placement testing, – all in one visit. The last placement testing starts at 5 p.m.
Prospective students who file their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov before attending this event can meet with staff members who can help select the best financial aid option. Apply for an individual federal PIN number to sign the FAFSA application at www.pin.ed.gov.
Prospective students will see how the campus expansion and renovation project is coming along, scheduled for completion in spring 2009. The $18 million project will offer enhanced technology, new classrooms, event space, comfortable places for students to gather and an innovative learning commons which incorporates reference and research assistance, technical support, writing assistance, career services, tutoring and educational support services.
Also, students enrolling can take advantage of selecting classes at the Gettysburg Campus, or online through HACC’s Virtual Campus, or off-site in Hanover with daytime classes at the Hanover Hospital Community Health & Education Center or evening classes at South Western High School.
