HARRISBURG - Women entrepreneurs serious about presenting a professional image to clients should plan to attend the latest session of Women’s Talkabouts, a series of free informal networking events offered by HACC’s Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies.

“Beyond the Business Suit: Your Professional Image” will be the topic of the session from noon-1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 12, in Suite 231, Three Penn Center, 349 Wiconisco St. Participants are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch. HACC will provide a dessert and beverage. Facilitating the discussion will be Julie Lichty, a business and career coach based in York.

“I will talk about dress briefly, but we must be aware as professional business owners that image goes way beyond that,” said Lichty. “It also includes our actions, our words and how we market our business.”

Lichty has been in business for seven years and has clients throughout the United States and Canada. She gained experience in the corporate world in the areas of human resources, employee development, and new business planning and implementation prior to venturing out on her own.

“This topic is one that is important to everyone who is starting a business, as well as people who are looking at growing or marketing their business in a different way,” said Dorothy Minnick, business counselor. “Julie is a dynamic presenter who is capable of delivering the message and motivating listeners at the same time.”

The sponsor for this session is the Rev. Angela Conrad Staub of hopetree. Staub is an interfaith minister, published author, teacher and spiritual counselor with a diverse ecumenical history. For more information, go to her Web site or call 503-0345.

Women business owners interested in attending the June 12 session should call 221-1311 to reserve a seat.
