"Get It Started" shows students what the college offers at Harrisburg Campus

HARRISBURG – HACC’s Get It Started open house Oct. 27 provides an opportunity for prospective students to explore their options when it comes to a post-secondary education.
Visitors can get their questions answered and explore the multiple ways of pursuing a career path during the open house from 3-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Harrisburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College:
  • At Cooper Student Center, One HACC Drive, visitors can also tour the buildings and see live demonstrations in culinary arts and automotive plus more.
  • HACC’s Midtown site, 1500 N. Third St., is where the college offers trade and technical education. Students receive hands-on training in high-demand areas such areas as computer networking technology, geospatial technology, green technology, engineering and electrical technology and more.
Guests can tour the cutting-edge facility and explore more programs, some of which can be completed in as little as nine months.
At both locations staff can offer guidance about career options, how HACC credits transfer to four-year schools, provide information abut financial aid and scholarships, student clubs and athletics and how to enroll.
