Student Government Association sponsors appearance by Lynn Trefzger on Dec. 2

LANCASTER – The public is invited to join members of the HACC-Lancaster Campus community to see a free performance by Lynn Trefzger, ventriloquist/comedienne.
Trefzger, who has a trunk full of zany characters that have accompanied her to stages throughout the country, will appear in Room 203 in the East Building. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The performance ends at 9 p.m. Her appearance is sponsored by the Student Government Association at the Lancaster Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
She recently was featured in “I’m No Dummy,” a documentary about the history and legends of ventriloquism. She has appeared on various TV shows, first appearing on “Star Search.” She has since performed with Jeff Foxworthy, Ray Romano, Drew Carey and Faith Hill.
Trefzger was named the 2006 Funniest Female Performer of the Year by Campus Activities magazine and was nominated for the award in 2007 by American Entertainment magazine.
Her special performances include the Disney Cruise Lines, Atlantis Resort & Casino, performing arts centers around the country and corporate and university engagements. She also has helped to raise money for The Children’s Hospital in Cleveland and The Duke Children’s Classic.
