LANCASTER – A group of concerned students, faculty and staff at HACC-Lancaster Campus are organizing a benefit concert to raise money toward relief efforts to benefit victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti.
“Hope for Haiti” will be held from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 18, in room 203 of the East Building on the campus, 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike.
The live jazz music fund raiser will include musicians Darry Miller & the VEIL, Chas DePaolo, Tom Pontz Project and Reese Project. In addition, performances will be given byAnn Leisawitz, pianist, and a number of talented HACC students.
Concert-goers are asked to make a donation as the price of admission. All proceeds from the benefit concert will go to the American Red Cross’ Haiti Disaster Relief Fund.
The event is a combined effort of many people at the campus, including members of the Music Department, Office of Student Life and Student Government Association.
