York, PA – Judy Wolfman, an internationally known York-based author, storyteller and educator, will lead a class on the art of storytelling at the HACC-York Campus from 2-4 p.m. Monday, June 7.
This program features age-appropriate stories, including myths, legends and folktales, which are interspersed with the various techniques and strategies of telling a story. In addition, Wolfman will include a brief background of storytelling, as well as a discussion of the awareness that storytelling, like music and dance, is an art form.
Wolfman is a member of the National Storytelling Network, Mid-Atlantic Storytellers and formed the York Tellers. She created and directed the first Storytelling Festival, held at the York Community Theatre.
