GETTYSBURG – Spring graduates of the associate degree in nursing program received their nursing pins in a ceremony held at the HACC-Gettysburg Campus in the Robert C. Hoffman Community Room. The graduates successfully completed HACC’s two-year, clinical nursing program and are now qualified to take licensure exams to become registered nurses (RNs). 
Several graduating RN students were recognized during the ceremony:
  • Courtney A. Dubbs of Chambersburg received the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association District 15 Leadership Award for her leadership qualities in patient advocacy, professionalism and effective communication.
  • Leah N. Rinaldi of Gettysburg received the Gettysburg Campus Nursing Student Organization Art of Nursing Award for demonstrating outstanding compassionate care to patients and families.
  • Tara D. Slagle of Hanover received the Gettysburg Nursing Faculty Excellence in Nursing Award for her interpersonal communication, assessment, documentation and technical skills and her exemplary behavior in the classroom and in clinical areas.
The Gettysburg Campus associate degree nursing graduates who received their pins were:
Aspers – Kathleen M. Warehime.
Biglerville – Jessica A. Nelson.
Chambersburg – Courtney A. Dubbs.
Gettysburg – Leah N. Rinaldi.
Hanover – Michelle L. Carter, Kimberly J. Clouser, Alice M. Lippy, Tara D. Slagle.
Littlestown – Kelly A. Jenkins.
Spring Grove – Sierra N. Hare.
HACC also offers a licensed practical nursing (LPN) certificate  program at the Gettysburg Campus. In addition, the Harrisburg and Lancaster campuses of HACC provide associate degree in nursing and certificate in practical nursing programs. Lebanon and York campuses offer the associate degree program.
