New students can get connected before spring semester begins
Dec. 13, 2011
YORK – Orientation sessions at HACC’s York Campus are aimed at helping new students get acclimated to the campus and college life before classes start for the spring semester.
New students and their families can choose between two sessions, with both held in the Cytec Building, 2161 Pennsylvania Ave.:
  • 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5; registration starts at 5 p.m.
  • 9-11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6; registration starts at 8:30 a.m.
Students will have the opportunity to meet faculty and current students, discuss classroom etiquette and expectations, tour the campus, and get a student ID (bring a photo ID and class schedule).
In addition, a session just for parents and families also is planned.
New students who are unable to attend one of the orientation sessions should contact Sara Hilton, campus coordinator of student life and multicultural programs, at 717-718-0328, ext. 3551, or email sehilton@hacc.edu.
Spring semester classes begin the week of Jan. 11.
