HARRISBURG – A full day of networking, keynote presentations, and learning opportunities will be presented during the Entrepreneurial Edge Small Business Conference from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, in the C. Ted Lick Wildwood Conference Center on the Harrisburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, One HACC Drive.
“This is our first Entrepreneurial Edge small business conference,” said Fran Verotsky, director of HACC’s Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies. “We are excited to present this conference, which is open to everyone who has a passion for entrepreneurship and business.”
The conference features a morning keynote by Scott Heintzelman, CPA and partner, McKonly & Asbury, who tackles the question, “Do you want a job or a business?”
A second keynote is presented by Sylvia Hepler, executive coach of Launching Lives, who discusses the topic of “Emotional Intelligence and Motivation.”
Several breakout sessions led by local entrepreneurs and business counselors of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies will cover business topics including loans and credit lines, naming a business and social media.
In addition, entrepreneurs will share their success stories during a panel and a Q-and-A format.
