Graduates recognized for academic, clinical achievements

HARRISBURG – Graduates of HACC’s associate degree nursing program at the Harrisburg Campus received their nursing pins in a recent ceremony in the Cooper Student Center.
In the associate degree program, 41 graduate nurses have successfully completed HACC’s two-year, clinical nursing program and are now qualified to take the state licensure exam to become registered nurses.
Several graduating RN students were recognized during the ceremony:
- Molly A Hutson of Duncannon received the Adele S. Birx Award for Outstanding Achievement in Nursing Practice.
- Kenyatte Z. Canidate of Harrisburg received the Spirit of Nursing Award.
- Kendra S. Book of Harrisburg received the Nursing Faculty Award for Exemplary Nursing Practice.
- Michelle L. Rouscher of York received the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association District 15 Award.
- Amy L. Cooper of Loysville received the Dauphin County Medical Society Award for Clinical Excellence.
